This is the best place to purchase the domain name for your company. All the places you can buy domains are about the same prices. The reason we use Name Cheap is because it is super simple to use.

It is by far the our favorite. Other companies interface is not as friendly and require some understanding of tech. NameCheap also plays really nice with Google Workspace, WordPress, Kajabi, and everything else needed for your business.

GOOGLE WORKSPACE

The first purchase you need to make is a Google Workspace Account. It cost $12 per month the last time we checked. It comes with UNLIMITED Google Drive Storage which you will need.

You get a business YouTube Channel. Most importantly you get to create your own professional email address.

SITEGROUND HOSTING

At this point we have tried all of the hosting companies. There are only two that we really love. SiteGround is awesome because of their customer support.

We have never had an issue that was not addressed immediately. Their user interface is top notch and so simple to use.

Their cloud hosting plans are a game changer for website speed and reliability.

KAJABI

Kajabi is where you will host your membership and some of your website pages. We use Kajabi because out of all the LMS platforms available they have the simplest to use interface. They also can handle the thousands of members you will have.

Kajabi is also priced better than all the others for what you get. You will not need all the bells and whistles that come with the other platforms. Kajabi does one things really well and that is memberships.

ACTIVE CAMPAIGN

Other than your actual product itself your CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Software is THE MOST IMPORTANT piece of your business.

This is how most of the communication is done with your customers, it is how you email them, it is what you use to set up automations and workflows, it is how you segment and tag customers and potential customers.

We have tried all of them and NO OTHER CRM compares to the power of ActiveCampaign.

It is worth every penny you spend on it and will give you the ability to scale to 7 and 8 figure levels without changing softwares.

THRIVECART

I am just going to answer the question everyone asks...

"Why do I need a cart software when Kajabi can take payments?"

I love Kajabi but they are great at one thing... Memberships.

ThriveCart is a one time payment purchase for the best cart software there is. It handles everything in your checkout process and does it really well. It also integrates perfectly with Kajabi.

Kajabi does not do evergreen countdown timers for sales. ThriveCart does. This is EXTREMELY important in the sales funnel process.

ZAPIER

There are two options for the software that connects all your workflows together. They are Zapier and Pabbly Connect.

Zapier is significantly easier to use than Pabbly Connect. If you are not tech savvy at all use Zapier.

Pabbly is a one time purchase. Zapier is a membership. We use Zapier for everything.

Pabbly will get the job done but it is more difficult to use.

PABBLY CONNECT

Pabbly Connect does the exact same thing as Zapier but you only make one lifetime payment to use the software.

CANVA PRO

Since you are a teacher I am sure you know what Canva is. For those of you that do not. It is the most user friendly image, video, gif, logo, and anything else you can think up creation and editing software ever made!

We love Canva! You will too!

You will need a paid plan to get access to the tools you will need it for with ad creation and what not.

CAMTASIA

When you make your onboarding videos for your members, blog post videos, and videos for anything else we love to use Camtasia.

Camtasia is a video editing software that anyone can use. There is no tech savviness required :)

It is super simple to use!

Camtasia is owned by TechSmith and they have many products. Just make sure to choose Camtasia on the site.

DROPBOX

Google Drive is nice and you get a bunch of storage with your Google Workspace Account.

However, Dropbox is my go to. I have stored all of my business files in my Dropbox account since day 1.

I do this for two reasons.

1.) Dropbox is far easier to use than Google Drive when it comes to organizing, accessing, and downloading your files.

2.) Dropbox is integrates with far more softwares. I have had some serious issues with Google Drive on many occasions. I have never had an issue with Dropbox.

I always have everything backed up in two places. Dropbox and Google Drive.

CLICKFUNNELS 1.0

ClickFunnels 1.0 is used on all of our sites. We love it because it is so simple to use and build landing pages in minutes.

You can add countdown timers to your sales pages to create scarcity which Kajabi cannot do.

This software is a big reason we were able to scale to 7 figures so quickly.

Please note there are two different versions of the ClickFunnels software. We used version 1.0 for our two sites. 

Now ClickFunnels has a software very similar to Kajabi called ClickFunnels 2.0. It has FAR more features than Kajabi but it is slightly more difficult to use. 

DEADLINE FUNNEL

Deadline Funnel makes it so you can create scarcity in the sales you run. 

You can give your potential customers real deadlines to join you membership without manually doing everything your self.

Once you have a lot of members it would be impossible to do this yourself. 

This is a way to automate the whole sales process. Doing this at the begining of your membership creation will take away a lot of headaches later on. 

We will do much more training on sales and marketing later on in the course.

MICROSOFT 365

When it comes to creating your products there is no comparison between Google and Microsoft. 

MS Word and PowerPoint are FAR superior to Google Docs and Slides.

TIDIO

I went almost a year into my first membership site before I added Live Chat to my sites. Boy was that a mistake!

This is the most instant relevant feedback you can get from your customers because they are on your site live looking for answers.

This software allows us to run contests on Facebook and Instagram. We use it to have leads put a word in the comments of posts and then automatically be sent a DM with information on how to join our email list.
